In Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, the Féerie has become an early-December tradition. Organized by the City, it sets up at the Lac du Village, on Rue des Peupliers, with a Christmas market of more than 70 exhibitors and free family activities, including a visit with Santa. Sortir au Québec describes it as a stroll through a natural setting under Christmas lights.

The Féerie also has a downtown component, on Place du Village, meant to add some magic to the heart of the city and invite visitors to shop at local businesses. Why go? To do some Christmas shopping with exhibitors in a village atmosphere, and to give the kids their moment with Santa.

More than 70 exhibitors around the lake

The City announces more than 70 exhibitors, without listing them or the product categories on its page. In 2025, the Association des marchés publics du Québec (AMPQ, the Quebec public markets association) mentioned nearly 75 exhibitors, and Sortir au Québec refers to 80 booths, with children's entertainment, a picnic area and washrooms on site. On the day of the downtown Féerie, Place du Village and its shops take over.

If you're looking for fresh products instead, keep in mind the Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville public market, also on Place du Village: according to the AMPQ, it brings together about thirty food producers and artisans from Montérégie. You'll find fruit and vegetables, meat, poultry, fish, cheese, bread and pastries, honey and maple syrup, jams, prepared meals, flowers and plants.

Holiday season 2026: December 3 to 6 at the Lac du Village

The City has confirmed the 2026 dates: the downtown Féerie returns on Saturday, November 28, on Place du Village, and the Féerie Lac du Village runs from Thursday, December 3 to Sunday, December 6, 2026. Opening hours had not yet been published in mid-October. For reference, in 2025 the Féerie Lac du Village (December 4 to 7) was open Thursday and Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to the AMPQ.

Family activities are free. The City's page does not mention an admission fee for the market, and it points to a practical information and parking section to check before you leave. To keep the magic going at home, our traditional Quebec holiday recipes are waiting for you.

Good to know: the Place du Village public market

The Féerie has a summer counterpart: the Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville public market. In 2026, it is held on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., from June 27 to October 31, on Place du Village. Chef Pasquale Vari is its spokesperson, and the AMPQ announced a cooking workshop led by him at the season launch, on June 27. Also according to the AMPQ, the site offers a playground, a picnic area, washrooms and parking, including for bikes, and most stalls accept cards.

Are you an artisan or a producer? People who want to exhibit at the Féerie register through an online form on the City's page.
