Marché de Noël de Terrebonne: three weekends on Île-des-Moulins

In Terrebonne, Île-des-Moulins is the setting for the Christmas market over three weekends in December. The event is presented by La nouvelle société, the organization that manages the island site as well as the Théâtre du Vieux-Terrebonne, the Maison Bélisle and Le Moulinet.

Local and regional vendors set up in Christmas cabins or inside the Moulin neuf, one of the buildings on the island. Why go? To find gifts and products from the region with the family, with entertainment and activities planned every weekend.

What you'll find: cabins, the Moulin neuf and an artisans' fair

La nouvelle société doesn't publish a vendor list: it mentions local and regional vendors. According to Sortir au Québec, the cabins offer local and regional products, and an artisans' fair rounds out the program. Holiday season 2026: December 4 to 20

In 2026, the market is open three weekends: December 4 to 6, December 11 to 13 and December 18 to 20. The hours are the same every weekend: Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The dates and hours are published by La nouvelle société, and Sortir au Québec lists the same dates.

Good to know: parking and getting to the island

Cars aren't allowed on Île-des-Moulins. La nouvelle société lists a free 500-space parking lot at the Collège Saint-Sacrement, 901, rue Saint-Louis, as well as other lots nearby: at the Saint-Louis-de-France church, at city hall, at the corner of Rue Saint-Pierre and Rue Sainte-Marie and at the Théâtre du Vieux-Terrebonne.
