Heat pump installers in Laval

Even here, the January average is below LogisVert's -8 °C reference point. An ENERGY STAR Cold Climate heat pump, with your current heating as backup, is still the right choice.

What sets Laval apart is its grant for getting off oil, and its bylaw names heat pumps among the replacement systems. The city pays $2,000 for a detached single-family home heated only with oil ($1,000 for a dual-energy system), and $1,400 for a semi-detached house, a row house, a condo or each unit of a duplex or triplex. The work, including tank removal, must be done by a licensed contractor (CMEQ 16 or CMMTQ 15.1, 15.3 or 15.4). And time is short: the work must be finished by December 31, 2026, and the application received by January 31, 2027, unless the 2026 budget runs out first.

LogisVert pays $120 per 1,000 BTU/h at -8 °C for a Cold Climate model and $50 for an ENERGY STAR model; Laval's bylaw says nothing about combining grants, so ask the city. The free heat pump, which is being rolled out in Laval, isn't taking registrations for 2026–2027. Chauffez vert ended on March 31, 2026, Rénoclimat no longer funds heating, and the federal rebate announced on October 8, 2026, isn't open yet.

For LogisVert, the RBQ licence must also include 15.9 or 15.10, plus 15.1, 15.7 or 15.8, and the company must belong to the corporation for its trade.
